Pittsburgh is the only team left that I don't worry might take the player I want. Son of a...! I had to talk smack, didn't I? Matt, Stone Garrett was my guy. Off the charts makeup. Confidence. Quoted as saying he's going to become a 30-30 guy in the majors. Over the last few days, my absolute desire to draft him had waivered some since I have Alford, Zimmer, JBJ, and Grichuk on my roster already. Plus with Gallo getting more OF reps. But I think I would've taken him anyways. I think he was the best hitter available with the best chance of reaching it. I'm surprised he lasted this long after Sickels ranked him the #1 prospect in the Marlins system. I love the Acevedo pick as well. The #3 pitcher that was in my Top 5. De La Cruz was #1. Looks like I may have to hope for my #2 guy to drop. If he goes as well, not sure what I'll do.

Dom Nunez is a great pick. He was 3rd on my list of remaining players, and at points during the draft had been 1st as I can't make up my mind. Unfortunately for me it looks like you and Ian have helped make it up for me. Question now is can my last "Top Guy" make it by Cleveland.

Good drafting this year. The first 3 picks went exactly as they should and there have been a number of other picks I thought were really good. 1.05 NYY Odubel Herrera 1.09 WAS Cody Reed 1.10 KC Austin Riley 1.13 DET Mychal Givens 1.16 STL Jharel Cotton 1.17 BOS Triston McKenzie 1.18 LAD Mike Clevinger 1.21 AZ Adrian Rondon 1.26 SEA Dom Nunez Hmmm...so it sort of looks like I like every pick

For anyone wondering, Cleveland does have a new owner. He has joined the message board in the last week, but hasn't posted yet. That's why we haven't auto-picked for the team. Don should be picking before long. He knows he's up, but technically has until the 30th.

I'm not in any hurry. I have a player I want and a backup I'd be happy with.

Im a big fan of Stone Garrett, has a 80 name, great power and speed potential. JIm threw a '02 zito curveball on us. Like usual, this seems to be a very well picked draft.

Yes. He's just trying to figure out who's available. We've been staying in contact.

Wilkerman Garcia is a solid first pick. I had him on my Top 5 list of remaining players. Whether that's good or bad you will have to decide for yourself.

I agree with Hayes. I like the Garcia pick. He was also in my remaining Top 5, and the #1 hitter I had listed. Nice first NSBL pick.

I have two pitchers I am going back and forth between. Each time I read a different scouting report or article, I change my mind again.
Tracy can wait anyways.

I am still torn, but this is the player with the higher perceived value right now. I think scouts may be wrong about him, in comparison to the other pitcher I want, but we'll see. At the very least, I think he becomes a Closer or good set-up man who can sit in the 98-100 range comfortably. The Chicago Cubs select: Franklyn Kilome - RHP - Philadelphia Phillies I guess at this point there is no reason to feel torm.

I talked to like 4 other owners about Kilome, and not one mentioned that. Pricks.

Munoz is likely to become the best SS in the A's system. I wanted to draft him but Richie Martin threw a temper tantrum so I had to pass for the sake of clubhouse unity.

Tough to narrow it down to one guy. Definitely quite a few guys I'll be looking to draft this summer.
