1. Eat me, Hoppy.
2. That pick was a product of trying to do last-minute research at a beach house with sketchy internet connection. But I'll own that pick anyway. Barraclough's no Donnie Joseph. I think he's got the 2nd best K/9 in all of MLB next to Andrew Miller. If he gets the walks under control, he should have no trouble being a closer at some point.

Travis, I am going to throat punch you for taking Socrates Brito. That guy was my jam at 4.7.

Houston Mark, that's why I wanted to trade with you, man. That's why I wanted to be your boy. I wanted to give you the extra time that you needed to operate on this pick. If there's one thing I know about Matt Kevin, is that he loves all of the following:
1. America 2. Thomas Kinkade winter landscapes 3. JUSTICE
And now we have our first draft cuckhold of the season! Welcome to the NSBL- home of grown-ass men. You will learn from this, and rise above it. But for now, experience the cuck!
JIm
PS I'm trading Nate Dawg Fuerererer for 4.10, so that action is going to be posted as soon as the Committee gives me the go-ahead.

I had been looking at ways to trade back into the draft to grab Chad Green. I just couldn't get back in at a price I liked.

Anybody picking in the last 6-10 spots in the draft that would be willing to swap it for my 2017 4th rounder (certainly a higher pick than your 2016 pick), please shoot me an email at karp62@yahoo.com.

Aw c'mon Mark- throw these lads a bone here. At least offer up a 2017 3rd rounder! Otherwise, it's like saying, "Hey, if you hold off touching yourself to the unmentionables section in this JC Penny catalogue, I'll give you a Lands' End catalogue 12 months from now as your reward. Tyler White is such a Vancho pick. This guy is trying to front me in the market for grinders in their mid-20's.
Vancho, I wanted you cuckholded in the worst way. I kept checking in every 2-3 hours, and was beginning to fantasize heavily about your pick being stolen from you.
You son of a bitch,

Nice Sborz pick. He was on my list of candidates. I even fed his name to Sean last weekend trying to steer him away from Mendoza.

I like when friends try to manipulate other friends under the guise of being helpful. Well played, Joe.

I went into yesterday with a clear #1 target. But then my mind started working. Why draft a college junior who signed, when I can target him possibly in the Winter Draft, and instead I could take a HS player who won't sign and could be a Top 10 pick in three years. I spent a day deliberating, and even tried to get the either 4.28 or 4.30, but neither owner would budge (you a-holes!). So I decided to take the higher ceiling player in Jared Horn. I know he's going to Cal and hopefully he can remain a 1st round talent for me. I wish he was going to a school with a better track record of churning out players, but it is what it is.

I like the Horn signing. Good gamble in my opinion. I think he will be worth the wait.

I had Nate Orf targeted as a possible late round pick early in the draft. He's somebody I saw play extensively in HS (he was a catcher back then). A couple of years ago he was an undrafted free agent out of Baylor and now he's hitting .340 at AAA. He's always been a high OBP guy. I think he could be a part of my team before long.

Some draft stats: *Time from pick 1.1 to pick 4.30 - 36 days, 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 18 seconds *Skipped picks - 1 [4.08-HOU] *Players selected who were completely off my radar - 15 *Draft players selected - 49 *MiLB/MLB players selected - 70 Positional breakdown (players listed at drafted position): Starting Pitchers - 59 (49.58%) Relief Pitchers - 4 (3.36%) Catchers - 4 (3.36%) First-Basemen - 5 (4.20%) Second-Basemen - 5 (4.20%) Third-Basemen - 12 (10.08%) Shortstop - 10 (8.40%) Outfielders - 20 (16.81%) Favorite Pick: Mitch Keller [1.21-AZ] - great value at this point, Keller was a top-10 player in this draft. Least Favorite Pick: Mitch Keller [1.21-AZ] - he took him one pick in front of me! screw you Ian

Im out of town and wasnt able to keep up with the draft the last couple days...but apparently you sluts took all the guys i wanted...my list really shrunk. Francisco rios was who i wanted the most, i was getting more excited by the day for him. Fuck you joe, good pick. Ill have my pick up in a few hours if i have the time to do some research. Ha ha ha ha ha! I was actually looking at Lambert myself, but the whole "Rockies" thing scared me off. I passed on Riley Pint in the other league for the same reason. I'll trade you Rios after the season for your 2017 1st and a Lambert though. In the four starts since you drafted Lambert he's given up 22 ER in 15.1 innings. My offer is off the table.

It sounds less terrible if you say 10 of those ER came in his last 1.2 IP.... Somethings gotta be off with him, hopefully it gets worked out sooner than later. He wasnt supposed to start to get beat up until he hit the high minors/Coors field...
