Aaaaannnndddd we're under way. Jon Gray goes #1 overall, feel free to tell me how stupid that was, or tell me how incredible it was.

Incredible!
Seriously, I was hoping he would slide to 3. When you told me you were taking him at one, that's when I felt safe moving down.

biggest shocker ever!
Next you're going to tell me he's taking a HS hitter at #2. Or will it be the HS pitcher? The tension!

Finally narrowed it down to who I want at 6. He could realistically be there. Hope so. Now comes the damn wait to see if he is...

I like frazier but I'm not sure about the success ratio of ginger major league players.

Love both picks made by TB. It's funny because I was talking to scott (CLE) about how I bet Frazier and Gray would be the first two taken. Leave it to Connor to be so typical! lol

Connor knowing who he wants for all 3 picks- but deciding to space it out over 3 days anyway- is pretty soff even by his already soff standards.

He did it so not to put immediate pressure on St. Louis, who may not have been as prepared. This gives Mike an extra couple days of preparation instead of having it thrust upon him so suddenly.

I do appreciate it, but I am ready at this point, so whenever Connordog feels like picking he can feel free.

John and Jim, thank you for picking up on that. I tossed it out there, and it was knocked out of the park. I am so proud to have like-minded people in this league.

I like the Stewart pick. I think he is probably the third best pitcher available in the real MLB Draft after Appel and Gray.
This draft has gotten off pretty well. Not a single question mark pick in the first four. It's really hard to figure out who I should be hoping falls to me though. 15 picks before it is my turn, and I have no idea who might and might not be available. I was pretty sure none of these four guys taken would slip to me, so none were even on my list. I was hoping maybe Stewart might last a little longer though. Just never know if the draft is going to tend towards current minor leaguers or MLB Draftees.

Damnit, Stewart was my guy!
Shit, I have to do some re-shuffling here.
If you want to make a quick offer on the current pick, shoot me an email. If I don't get anything I like, the pick will assuredly be posted by tonight.

Solid picks so far I have my list of about 40 prospects for the draft. Hopefully they make it to me in the 2nd round.

Waiting to hear back from 1 GM, if it doesn't seem like anything will get done there, I'll post the pick.
