Figured I would make this so those who don't care about the league (apparently there are about 19 of those twats) don't have to read about it on the weekly thread. Of course I think only about 5 people even read that.

They are projecting my team to score only 61.04 points this week. I expect to exceed that by at least 20. They have Tajae Sharpe only getting 39 yards and Zeke Elliot only getting 71 total yards. Guess they missed that Sharpe is going up against the Lions and didn't see what Williams did to that Redskins D-Line on Monday. And Dan Bailey only to get two yards. He is still the most accurate kicker in NFL History, right?
Hayes is supposed to score in the high 90s, but I don't see it happening. Shady only got him 9 points and he has Doug Martin facing a pissed off Cards D, and TY Hilton coming to Denver. Those are two scary defenses. Of course, Odell Beckham Jr may make up for all those lost point in his game against New Orleans. Hoping for another 52-49 game this year. Go Brees!

I felt pretty good about my team's draft, and the "Draft Predictor" feature had me finishing 3rd place I think.
But I'm on the verge of starting the season 0-2. Got a tough matchup against Jay's team, and am starting the day already 10 points in the hole from the Thursday night game. Not succulent.

I made the mistake of starting Sammy Watkins on Thursday. That's going to be a tough hurdle to overcome.

If I only win by 2 points, I'll be sure to thank D-Jax for scoring 4 points and absolutely crushing Sammy Watkins in that matchup.

Damn. I was down by around 100 points to Jay's team at one point today, and made it the whole was up to 117, but am going to wind up losing by less than 3.
That's killer. I'd rather get blown out by 50 than score that many points and still lose. Not having that big white bastard Rob Gronkowski for the first 2 weeks of the season has hit me hard.
Taint Taggers down.

Yeah? Losing by 3 when scoring well over 100? When did this happen last? Was it last week? Take your medicine, you sick bastid! Go drink some broth!
I'm going to go home and work on not being bitter...

I beat Colby, but also suffered a slew of injuries :/ All 4 of my RB are hurt, with Rawls being the only one who has the potential to play next week
Adrian Peterson - knee Thomas Rawls - shin Ameer Abdullah - foot Danny Woodhead - knee Jimmy Garoppolo - shoulder
I guess the one bright side is that it looks like I have 5 playable WR (Jordy Nelson, Brandon Marshall, Stefon Diggs, Randall Cobb, Michael Crabtree). So if you have extra RB and want to make a deal, hit me up.

So this week can be Bizarro Week when compared to last week. Last week Sean's team scored the second most points in the league, but were screwed by playing Patrick's team (BTW- He Haight Me is probably my favorite team name in the league) who scored the most points. This week, my team stumbled and I've scored the second lowest amount of the week. But, lucky me, I am playing Hayes who has scored the lowest of any team so far, and barring a huge outing by the Philly D, will stay that way.
2-0 baby!

Weekly Fantasy Football update (pre Monday Night Football):
Joe 75.12 (N/A) Hayes: 58.06 (Philly D) As I mentioned above, if Joe was playing anyone else, his goose would be cooked. But The Football Gods saw fit to ease the pain of another Seattle loss to the Rams and has graciously allowed Joe to face the team with the worst showing of the week. Joe was hurt by Arian Foster (0.9 points), Golden Tate (1.3), Doug Baldwin (2.0), and Tajae Sharpe (3.3) while Hayes was hurt by Doug Martin (2.3), TY Hilton (4.1), Michael Floyd (6.8... only 1 catch which was for a TD), and Gary Barnidge (3.7). Joe's big producers were the Panthers Defense who scored him 14 points and Martellus Bennett, who is the beneficiary of Jim's lack of Gronk, who scored 17.4 points on 114 yards and a touchdown. Joe could've had a larger lead if he had started Fitzpatrick (21.06) over Brees (14.52), but that's a hard choice to make. He did almost start Tyler Lockett (9.9) over Tate, but he didn't expect Baldwin to go out and Lockett to be the #1 target for Russell "Bustle and Man Muscle" Wilson
Matt 77.38 (N/A) Rich 90.90 (N/A) Matt basically had his best team out there and still couldn't match up this week. He could've gotten about 4 more points, but it wouldn't have made a difference. Most of his team was about average and he got good showings from Greg Olsen (18.2) and Dustin Hopkins (11), but since he in convinced he needs to keep a rookie QB who isn't even dressing for the games on his bench (Jared Goff) he had no better option than to start Andrew Luck against the best defense in the league and he only got 10 points from the QB position. If you give him the usual 20 points or so most QBs score, this is a much closer game. Phillip Rivers (23.8), Gio Bernard (15.7), and Jarvis Landry (11.7) all helped Rich a lot. He could've scored even more points if he had gotten Tevin Coleman into his line-up, but that would've meant benching Mark Ingram who is part of the high-powered Saints offense or Victor Cruz who was facing the low-powered Saints defense. The game may have played out different than expected, but on paper Rich made the right choices. The Texans defense also doubled up the Pack D which he started, but most people didn't expect the Vikes offense to be efficient with Bradford in there, and the Texans were playing Rich's favorite team, the Chefs, so you can't blame him for sitting them. It all worked out anyways.
Jay 120.04 (N/A) Jimmy 117.16 (N/A) Jay's team is just a high powered juggernaut right now. I haven't looked at the schedule but I hope I don't play him until after Le'Veon Bell returns and he loses that D'Angelo Williams punch he gets right now. Williams got him another 19.2 points this week and DeAndre Hopkins (another 17.3) and Matt Forte (28.9) really gave Jay what he needed to beat Jimmy. Tannehill having 3.3 more points than Big Ben, while sitting on the bench, has to hurt in a game where he is going to lose by less than 3, but starting Tannehill over Ben would've been a risky move, even with the differences in defenses. Latavius Murray (16.1), Eric Decker (18.6), Mike Evans (13) and Will Fuller (10.4) really tried to keep it close, and he got a huge outing for the Denver defense (22), but it still wasn't enough. Maybe if he didn't have three quarterbacks he could've had more RB or WR depth and wouldn't have to start a real life bench player like Charles Sims who only got him 2.8 points. Guess Sims is a "grinder".
Colby 75.82 (N/A) Connor 84.76 (N/A) Why Colby would start Donte Moncrief (0.9 points v. Denver) over Mike Wallace (16.1 v Cleveland) or Marvin Jones (11.8 v. Tennessee) is beyond me... but it's the reason he lost the game. As everyone who played the Broncos found out last season... don't test that defense. Fuck I hate saying that, as a certified Bronco Hater. Jonathan Stewart leaving the game early with an injury didn't help his chances either, but you can't plan for injuries. You can plan for bad match-ups. Connor didn't exactly work his roster very well either. He dropped Tyrod Taylor earlier in the week and then Taylor goes out and scores the fifth most fantasy points of the week. But that's not it... Connor also benched Stefon Diggs, who had the seventh most points of the week, and was second only to Forte for non-QB points. Good job, Connor! Connor's RBs got him almost zilch this week, combining for 3.4 points, but his bench backs weren't much better and combined for only 6.9 points. On paper Connor has some decent backs, but AP and Rawls haven't gotten off this year yet (Hey Connor... I could've told you not to start Rawls against the Rams. In my Pick'em League, I was the only person who picked LA to win that game. I feel like such a traitor).
Brian 103.52 (N/A) Patrick 81.04 (Alshon Jeffery and Ryan Matthews) Brian got a huge outing from the Cards D who annihilated the Bucs and scored 23 points. Oh No Gano scored him another 16 and then Vance McDonald and Willie Snead combined to give him another 24.9 points. Matt Ryan (27.84) had a huge game for Patrick and DeMarco Murray and Julio Jones combined for another 31.1 points. Larry Fitgerald over Allen Robinson would have gotten Patrick 8.7 points closer, but I can't blame him for that move. Matt Jones got 12.5 on his bench, but until we see how Jeffery and Matthews do tonight, we won't know if that was a good benching or a bad one.
Jeff 94.22 (Jeremy Langford) Sean 125.56 It's going to take a Herculean effort by Langford tonight to catch Sean. The highest non-QB score this season was D'Angelo Williams last week with 29.1 points. Langford would need to score 31.4 to get Patrick the win. That's basically 3 touchdowns and 134 total yards without a fumble. That's old school Faulk/Prient/Shaun type of scoring from 10-15 years ago. Jeff could be closer had he started Tyrell Williams (12.10) instead of Sammy Watkins (2) or Brandin Cooks (6.8), but at least he kept Kelvin Benjamin (22.8) in the line-up. That Cam to Kelvin connection netted Jeff over 52 points. Sean looks like the high scorer for the week with strong performances from Derek Carr (24.96), CJ Anderson (15.3), Melvin Gordon (18), Travis Benjamin (23.4), and Isaiah Crowell (20.8). Sean wisely benched Aaron Rodgers against an underrated Vikings defense that doesn't get the publicity that a normal Top 5 defense should get.
