There are no limitations on number of trades a team can make per week. Trades will be submitted on the message board in the "Pending Trades" thread by Thursday at 10pm EST. A trade is not considered pending until both teams post confirmation in that thread. Any trade not confirmed in that time frame will be moved to the following week's transactions. This can impact submitted lineups so we request and expect diligence from all parties involved in a trade.
The player limit for trades is 5 players per team. For example, a two team deal may involve up to, but not exceed, 10 players. A three team deal may involve up to, but not exceed, 15 players. Draft picks and cash do not count against this limit.
At no time will a trade be placed before the entire league for a vote. It is up to the committee to maintain fair-play in the league. The committee may ask for opinions from the league, but ultimately it is the committee's decision whether or not to veto a trade. All grievances will be heard by the committee, but this does not mean a rejected trade will be revisited.
Once all teams involved have posted a trade confirmation, that agreement is final. Trades may not be amended unless an ineligible player/pick has been involved. Be sure you read what you're agreeing to before you agree to it.
Teams may trade the discount rights to any player they currently own or any player they previous owned that is now entering free agency until such time as that player has had a posted contract offer. Once that player has had a contract offer posted on the message board during free agency, their discount rights are no longer able to be traded.
Traded discount rights, or players traded during their final season, will only be a 5% discount, rather than the normal 10% discount.
If a player on an MLI contract is traded, that contract automatically becomes guaranteed.
All players in the first year of a CE, or the first year of a guaranteed multi-year contract (two years or more) will have a No Trade Clause (NTC) for the first year of the deal. This will be denoted on the roster spreadsheet.
Teams may not trade players drafted during the summer until the end of that season. Players drafted in the winter can no be traded until after the following season. They will have NTC denoted on the roster spreadsheet.
What's a trade deadline? We don't use that garbage. Trades will be allowed from the opening date of the Hot Stove until the end of the regular season. Only during the league off-season break will transactions be frozen.
