DAVID WRIGHT - 3B - Toronto Blue Jays - Class of 2021One of the ultimate winners in league history, David Wright is a three-time World Series champion and six-time All-Star. He enters the Hall as a Toronto Blue Jay after spending his first 5.5 seasons with the team, winning back-to-back World Series in 2006 and 2007. The rest of his 13 season career was spent primarily with Washington, winning the 2013 World Series with the Nationals, but also spent time with Seattle, Cleveland, the New York Mets, and Atlanta. An incredible hitter, Wright had a 109 OPS+/wRC+ or better each of his first 12 seasons, only falling off in his partial season in 2018 before retirement. At his time of retirement, Wright's name was littered amongst the career leaderboard, 4th in hits, 4th in runs, 10th in RBIs, 4th in 2B, and 6th in RAA. His final career numbers are a .289/.360/.475 triple slash, with 2099 H, 444 2B, 277 HR, 1143 R, 1094 RBI, 251 SB, and a 127/132 OPS+/wRC+.
