Please reply in support of the Huston Street Hall of Fame Petition. Maybe if we get enough names on this thing we can slap the shit out of Connor with it.

Huston Street was probably the highest drafted Summer pick that was picked with the intention of him being a reliever.
If Joe Nathan is in, Huston Street should be in. Cooler name.

My question is, do we elect him just because Nathan is in? Cuz I'm not sure if that's the only reason I'm on board. Let's say if we get 10 votes to put him in, he's in!
Here's the Nathan vs. Street comparison after diving in deeper:
Career length: Nathan - starts at age 31, plays 10 seasons Street - starts at age 22, plays 12 seasons
Record (who cares, they're closers).
Saves: Nathan - 198 (19.8 per year) Street - 257 (21.4 per year)
Appearances: Nathan - 664 (66.4 per year) Street - 714 (59.5 per year)
Innings: Nathan - 754 (75.4 per year) Street - 804.1 (67.0 per year)
ERA: Nathan - 3.42 (84 ERA-) Street - 3.55 (88 ERA-)
FIP: Nathan - 3.29 (80 FIP-) Street - 3.62 (89 FIP-)
WAR: Nathan - 9.6 fWAR / 8.3 rWAR Street - 6.7 fWAR / 7.3 rWAR
Awards: Nathan - 1 World Series, 3x All-Star Street - Rookie of the Year, 1 Reliever of the Year, 1x All-Star
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
