RANDY JOHNSON - SP - Florida Marlins & Cincinnati Reds - Class of 2013The Big Unit spent his 5 year career bouncing around 7 teams in the league (CIN/FLA/BOS/AZ/SF/BAL/TOR). He won the 2007 World Series with the Blue Jays, made the All-Star team in 2009, and had a historic 2006 season in which he led the NL in SO, CG, and K/BB ratio, while posting an ERA and FIP 30% better than league average. He finishes with career numbers of a 50-38 record, a 3.83 ERA, and a lone save.

The save is what put him the HoF, for sure.

Though I gotta admit, I'm not a fan of these two team enshrinement a. I think we gotta pick one.

Though I gotta admit, I'm not a fan of these two team enshrinement a. I think we gotta pick one. I agree (about not liking it). Right now, the logic is: -For hitters, find the team they have the most PA for and the team they have the most WAR for, in most cases that's the same and they go in as a member of that team. If they differ, then they go as a member of both. -For pitchers, it's the same except IP instead of PA. I'm happy to change this for any player (can just hardcode it in), but for now that was my way of making it unbiased, since we didn't vote on it or anything.

Not arguing one way or the other for which hat he wears, but just noting his 2009 playoff run with NL-pennant-winning Arizona.
4 starts 3-1 (Still the only Arizona pitcher with 3 playoff wins!) 3.96 ERA
All of that as a 46 year old! That is all.

That is definitely an "issue" in sim leagues, if only when it comes to something like fake Hall of Fames. Many players, even the best ones, change teams every year.
So I say, to fix this issue, every owner who wants to claim Randy Johnson (or Miguel Cabrera, or whoever) should duel. A third-party can choose the time and place, and you all duke it out, mano-a-mano, to see which "hat" this fake player will wear on his fake plaque.
It's literally the only fair way to handle this.

Or, if people are against violence, maybe at some point we could actually have a vote to see which team's hat gets worn.
Or maybe I'm just too invested in this HoF idea.

Should have stipulated in the trade that the HOF hat did not go with him to AZ.
I think we need a team-by-team statistical breakdown.

Based on just stats, I say Reds. But it would also be interesting to see things like awards and postseason success.
