It's that time of year again, the time to ask about team blogs.
I'm very interested in having my own part of the message board to post my team lineups, pimp my prospects, and post articles I find interesting, prior year team results and stats, etc.
Essentially you create a new index on the forum under the "Draft" area, and allow each team they're own sub forum under that, where we can post or edit posts in that area. Each team can have a name for their own blog, ie the Reds could name there's "The Hunt for Red October".
I think it definitely would boost interest in the forum.

As long as trade blocks stay where they are, I’m fine with that. But in MLBSA, teams also post their blocks on their team pages, and I hate it. It means you have to click through 29 separate pages to see what teams are offering up in trade.
In one of my (very few) victories over there so far, I got them to start a Trade Block page like what we have here. It’s catching on. Slowly.

I looked into trying to make these before and ProBoards just doesn't offer a neat and concise way to do it. It doesn't allow like second-level boards under one Team Boards header. Best we can get is threads for each team.
Otherwise we have all 30 boards listed on the main page and it blows goats and clutters shit up.

No to Google, yes to this board.
The formatting of this board is nothing short of fantastic, and its been carefully and thoughtfully improved over many years. The potential of Google is great, but they rushed so quick to get these products to market that they are all very rough around the edges appearance-wise.
I have not joined leagues due to how poor the interface was, and almost left MLBSA until I got used to it.
Keep this board all the way. It's legit.

Yay. Jason fighting with the entire league, Day 113. Take 1.
(I love our layout. The contrast is great, it’s easy on the eyes, there are not so many sub-boards that we’re devoting significant time to keeping up with all of them. It’s just really excellent. Sometimes simpler is better.)

I think I've located a server big enough to accept all of Jason's posts............ just sayin'. ....only big enough if he cuts back slightly.

It's really cool that you all are criticizing a GM who actively gives a shit about the league. And league blogs are just perfect because then we can openly attack anyone who takes the time to be active. Love this super-cool not-at-all-toxic thing we have going.
You're all idiots. Just stahp, please.

My official response to team blogs is GMs can do whatever they want. If I need to build a place on this message board for team threads, I'll do it. I'm currently in the process of moving the rules to a Google Doc, so we can clear out that section of the message board. Just waiting to make sure it's all updated and any ambiguous or questionable language has been cleaned up.
