I can definitely see both sides but I will go with the more fundamentally sound righty side. As a RHP it appears to be driving towards homeplate with solid arm and core mechanics. The LHP appears to be falling backwards and has his arm lagging too far from the core of his body because he opened up his front shoulder and hips too soon. He has shoulder surgery written all over him LOL. His face also appears to be looking at the dugout rather than home plate so he might earhole a lefty batter.

So I originally saw a RHP, and everything Mike said sounded and looks right. But then I forced my mind to reverse it to see him as a LHP so I could compare... and now I can't get it to switch back. I only see a LHP now.

Same here, Joe. I immediately saw a lefty, but after reading a Twitter debate on it, I can't figure it out. My brain is angry about it.

I think it's because they put a LH torso with a RH upper body in order to monkey with your brain, mo?

Lefty. Hips and head are slightly turned toward a lefty delivery. I thought the level picture was a better illusion, but this angled photo is absolutely lefty. Maybe not seeing a ball in hand makes you feel it's the back of the hand for a righty?

I immediately thought lefty because of the direction the head is turned and how the legs are positioned as he throws.

Yeah, I can't see the debate. I'm trying to see a RHP, but I don't see how it's possible. LHP all the way.
