Not yet available to purchase through Steam, and Steam makes keeping the game properly updated a hell of a lot easier. I think the promo is supposed to be available there too so long as it's before release.

So before we make any purchases, do each of us have to buy a new OOTP version every single season? I don't mind paying this once, but every year will get pricey.
That seems to be another advantage to Diamond Mind; I think they only updated their software every few years or so, unless I'm misremembering.

Technically, you were supposed to buy DMB every year, but Joe and Sean just copied and shared the copies they purchased. |

Gotcha. I bought DM the one year for the league to share it, but I think that year a couple of other guys did too. I get the vibe that it's tougher to do that with OOTP than DM.
I lean Jeff's way; I'm waiting for the Steam version, because it worked smoothly for me last year. Manually updating sounds like the worst.

Has anyone purchased the new version? I have had today circled on my calendar for weeks as the day Steam would have it available but it still says "Coming Soon"

So I would wishlist it, everyone, if you haven't already. I don't know exactly how the discount works but it sounds like it's tied to that.

You can transfer saves from one version to another, but I think the league still needs to be setup. Unless I hear otherwise, I'm waiting for a new league link when everything is setup for 2025.

It should be much easier to set it up this year. One guy should be able to transfer the save, and just make the changes from trades and free agency, then voila! It's done. Most of the work should already be done.
