4-3 week after splitting 1-1 with Milwaukee and taking 3 of 5 from Toronto and I now sit 0.5 games up in the division.
The good: Josh Lindblom full stop. I needed a big game from him going up against Alec Manoah and he delivered. Just another standard Lindblom start of 6 scoreless innings. His season ERA is now 1.59.
The bad: The offense. It was bad again. We scored 2-2-4-4-3-3-3 runs this week. What was supposed to be the strength of this team has looked and acted like a liability all year while I've been carried by depth starting pitching and minimum contract relievers. Here's to a second half rebound for the bats.
Coming up: 3 in Boston before a much needed day off (10 games in 9 days). Then a 3 game set in Cincy.
