After a rough 1-9 stretch against the AL West, dropping from 13-9 to 14-18, we righted the ship with a 3 game sweep against the Jays. I guess if I was given the knowledge I was going 4-9 in my last 13 games, I would have chosen the 3 games against Toronto to be 3 of the victories, but it's tough to be that bad against the West. Part of it was 8 consecutive losses which is the most I've had in quite some time I believe.
The good: I swept Toronto! Harrison Bader hit 3 homers this week, Trea Turner burst out of his slump (13/26, 4 2B, HR, 4 SB),
The bad: I was swept by the Angels! I tried to move Darin Ruf into a full time DH since he was outperforming Brad Miller so far. He responded with a 2/18 week with a .325 OPS.
Coming up: 3 vs. Detroit then 3 in Baltimore.
