I'm entertaining the thought off trading Seager. I'm not 100% convinced, though, and that's where YOU come in! Knock my socks off with an offer!
Seager has two more affordable years on his deal at $12.644 million. But I'm likely not quite ready to compete in those two years, so let's see what offers I can get that may get me ready to compete within two years.
I do that HAVE to trade him. He's an MVP-level player whom I can easily afford. So if you want him, you need to convince me that it's worth it to move him.
I don't want lottery tickets. Other than that, I'm open to suggestion.

I've still got Seager available. I've had several people inquire, and I'll be honest... I'm asking a lot. Seager is the type of bat - at a premium position - that can put a team over the top. And even though he isn't hitting how we expect Seager to hit, I fully expect his projection to be well worth his contract for 2023.
I also have Hyun-Jin Ryu available. His ZiPs have him projected to a 122 ERA+ and averaging almost 6 innings a start. Ryu has 2 years left at $22.5 MM. Unlike Seager, I know he won't be worth his contract next year. I will be willing to cover some of his 2023 contract. How much depends on what you're willing to send back in return.
