It's that time of year again! Show off your prospects!
I'm lame and am not using any top 100 list. I'm just putting the XXX-1st guys on my roster in order of how I rate them.
1. Diego Cartaya - It's been a long time since I've had a young, good catcher in my system. Some are saying he could be a number 1 overall prospect in a few years. We'll see. Either way, I'm excited that I chose him over Ivan Herrera a couple of years ago when I was debating between the two.
2. Brennan Davis - Hoping that he can somehow stick in center, but even if not, this guy is legit.
3. Matt Manning - Still a rookie in NSBL, and will remain one for at least another year. Here's hoping he becomes a legit 2/3 starter this year in RL.
4. Harry Ford - Not expecting him to stick at catcher, but he's athletic enough to be at least a neutral defender somewhere, and the bat is real.
5. Xavier Edwards - My hope of him sticking at SS seems to be dashed, but he should provide some good positional flexibility.
6. Edwin Uceta - Has a lower ceiling than a few below him, but a higher/safer floor. Should be a solid reliever for a few years in the sim, starting in 2022.
6. Jackson Rutledge - The wheels fell off last year. Can he get back on track? Big year for him.
7. Matt Fraizer - Should be a solid platoon guy as soon as 2023 in the sim... I hope.
8. Peyton Battenfield - Never count out a Cleveland pitcher.
9. Austin Hendrick - The wheels really fell off this guy last year. Not sure he has the skills to get back on track, but the raw power is still there.
10. Daniel Cabrera - Had higher hopes for him when I drafted him. Looking like a ceiling of a 4th OF'er.
11. Andrew Abbott - Not getting looked at as much of anything, anymore. Still, a solid K/BB rate last year, so maybe he can become a back end starter, which is his likely ceiling.
