Swept Toronto to clinch the division, then got manhandled by the Marlins pitching in a 3 game sweep. We sit 1 game up on the Bucs for the best record in the league and 4 games up on the Rangers for the top seed in the AL.
The good: No injuries. That's all that really matters at this stage. Performance wise, Jacob DeGrom continued his last season Cy Young push with a 7 inning, 2 run, 10 strikeout outing....while taking the loss in typical DeGrom-ian fashion.
The bad: We barely dodged the injury bullet, as Anthony Rendon went down for 3 days. Losing him in the playoffs would be a major blow to my team, but luckily he is back healthy now.
Coming up: Day off, 3 @ HOU, 3 @ NYY
