Wow- 2 games at Cubs and 4 at Twins, Lamet and Gausman pitching 4 times. I thought 3–3 was the floor. 6 losses. Brutal week, probably ends the chance of me getting lucky enough to sneak into the playoffs.
Also 0-4 against the Joe and the Cubs. What am I doing?!?

Solid 5-1 week at home. Now on the road, where we have struggled, for 6 division games. We need to improve on this 1-6 record versus Philly or we are up the Schitt's Creek.

Wow a 20 game losing streak. I know I had 2 injuries, but I was at .500 prior to this. Not a change I have made has effected the sim. Of course like all of us when I run it I am never this bad. Sooooooooo Frustrating!

4-2. Managed to lose twice to the 30-48 Red Sox at home, before sweeping the 47-31 Angels while outscoring them 21-6. The good: The core starting pitching of the team. Yu Darvish (7-4, 2.96 ERA, 2.72 FIP) and Jeremy Walker (9-2, 2.26 ERA, 3.33 FIP) matched each other, each throwing 7 scoreless innings this week. Jacob DeGrom (7-5, 2.48 ERA, 2.45 FIP) took one of the losses, but was far from bad throwing 7.2 IP with 9 K, 3 BB, and 4 R. Jon Gray (9-2, 2.71 ERA, 3.43 FIP) was solid in a short 5 IP - 1 R outing, and even Alex Wood (1-4, 5.03 ERA, 5.50 FIP) got into the mix, allowing 1 run in 6 inning while striking out 10. The bad: The only starter to have a bad start was new addition Caleb Ferguson (3-6, 3.51 ERA, 2.94 FIP), who only last 4 innings in his Rays debut, allowing 4 runs. Hopefully his track record pre-trade overpowers this one dud, and he can get back on track next week against the Nationals. Coming up: Day off, 2 @ WAS, day off, 3 @ TOR
