Back in Ohio this week and meeting some old friends for dinner tonight. Sim will be late, but hopefully error free this week.

Meh. 4-3. 3-1 vs NYY but lost the series 1-2 against Texas. Baltimore went 4-2 so I'm back a full game in the division, but Toronto had a poor week so I'm up a half game on them for the WC1 spot. The good: A week spent in the Bronx and Texas really revived my power bats as we hit 14 homers this week. Gleyber Torres led the way with 4 and he now only trails Giancarlo Stanton for the most in the NSBL (Stanton, who has 6 more than 2nd place, is currently on pace for 70 homers. His power + Coors Field = some bonkers numbers, and I'm loving watching it play out). The bad: Alex Wood. My marquee FA signing this year continues to struggle, this week allowing 5 runs in 1.1 IP. He has really been hit by the long ball bug, allowing 15 homers in 61.2 IP (2.19 HR/9) and now has a 5.25 ERA with a 5.51 FIP on the year. Coming up: day off, 2 games vs WSH, day off, 3 games vs BAL
Weekly Leaderboards are updated: Week-By-Week ChartsBest week: SD, 6-1, +1.4% World Series Odds (+2.9 wins added to mean win projection). Also Considered: PHI, SF, AZ, PIT, BAL Worst week: NYM, 1-6, -1.0% World Series Odds (-3.4 wins subtracted from mean win projection). Also Considered: CHC*, COL, TOR, SEA

Solid 4-2 week on the road but this only 46 homers in 60 games is quite silly at this point.
Good thing we can pitch.
