Huge huge HUGE shoutout to Hayes this week who went through a very detailed set of instructions in a far too lengthy email of mine and changed the way some of the stats are presented on the site to help my scripts run better. Not sure how many people look at those things, but players who change team mid season will be properly accounted for going forward again. In terms of on field performance, we beat Toronto in the last game to split the 4 game set from last week, then took 2 of 3 from KC before splitting 2 with PHI for a 4-2 week overall. After the disaster that was last week, I will definitely take it! The good: Wow! A shutdown week from my main two members of the bullpen. Kenley Jansen and Pete Fairbanks matched each other this week, each throwing 4.1 shutout innings. Fairbanks had 2 H, 1 BB, and 5 K, while also getting 2 GIDP, and Jansen had 0 H, 1 BB, 4 K. It's only 8.2 combined IP, but after my pen has been such a disaster for most of the year, it's nice to have a couple of stable options back there. The bad: My LF platoon of Brad Miller and Harrison Bader. Rough week guys....0/17 with 1 BB and 8 K. At least Franchy Cordero got some playing time and performed well, going 3/8 with a diner and a walk. Maybe more at bats are in line for him going forward. Coming up: 4 in the Bronx and 3 at Texas. At least I don't have to watch these games on TV and am spared that awful camera angle the Rangers have been using the last couple of years.
Weekly Leaderboards are updated: Week-By-Week ChartsBest week: AZ, 6-0, +2.1% World Series Odds (+3.3 wins added to mean win projection). Also Considered: LAD (also 6-0), MIL, CHW Worst week: BAL, 1-6, -1.2% World Series Odds (-3.4 wins subtracted from mean win projection). Also Considered: SF, STL, HOU, BOS*

Diamondbacks picked a great time to play some good baseball. We play 33 games in 34 days, and we're 21-5 through the first 4 weeks of that. Now tied for 1st in what should be a VERY tough NL West.
According to Connor's internet machine, 3 teams are decent bets for 90+ wins in the NL West.

That was a great final game between TB-TOR. 1-1 into the 11th inning.
