4-2, swept the Yankees but lost 2 of 3 from the pesky Mets. The good: Jacob DeGrom threw a shutout and my bullpen only allowed 3 runs in 17.2 innings, which is nice since it means I can take a week long break from bitching about them. The bad: We're still not hitting the ball out of the ballpark at the rate I expected, and we're allowing way too many homers to make me think it's just the Trop's park effects. Coming up: Day off, 3 at Baltimore, then the first 3 of 4 at Toronto (game 4 is next Monday)
Weekly Leaderboards are updated: Week-By-Week ChartsBest week: BAL, 6-0, +1.4% World Series Odds (+3.5 wins added to mean win projection). Also Considered: DET, PIT, TEX, CHW, AZ, TOR Worst week: NYY, 0-6, -0.1% World Series Odds (-3.7 wins subtracted from mean win projection). Also Considered: CIN, SF, KC, SEA

Thanks for the analysis as always, Connordog.
While I'm happy that Nick Allen has been OPS'ing over 1.000 (and playing Ex defense at SS) over the past month, I would much rather Chris Taylor and his 2.1 WAR, 104 OPS+ projection weren't hitting under .200, than little Allen and his 68 OPS+ projection tearing it up. Props to me for calling up Allen, I guess?
That's what's quietly infuriating about the sim: I would just rather good players sim like good players, rather than so poorly that you can't even roster them. When guys like Allen sim ridiculously above their projections, it almost makes assembling a good team a matter of blind luck more than anything.
