Looking forward to this Winter Draft. I ain't seen this many hot, young Latin men since I played HS football in New Mexico and took showers with the team.

Nice job, Travis. Layout looks great, and it *should* allow for almost all ZiPS to be out by free agency, so that nobody is bidding blind. Really like this.

Here's the 2022 roster. Let me know if anything doesn't seem right. -fixed 2022 link- docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yCxpH7Z11npATz_rYJZiGlq64LtoT8nQNvGAyZkqTv4Salary Cap: MLB salary dropped by 180-200M total since 2019. No adjustment was made last off-season due to the uncertainty of actual numbers. NSBL teams are losing an average of 3M. $/win dropped from 1.7 to 1.67. No telling what happens next season with the CBA-- Up or down. Rookie eligibility. Reminder that rookie eligibility is either: 130 AB or 50 Games for Hitters 50IP or 30 Games Pitched

Since the column's sum is 0, I'm likely not the only one, but I don't believe my traded cash cell was updated for 2022. It still has me for -75.494. I've only traded away 13.650 in 2022.

Nevermind.
Travis, I think you accidentally posted the link to the 2021 roster. I think one of you will have to send out a link to the 2022 for people to see it since it's secret.

We will get that posted sometime after Tier 1. Wanted to add an extra element to the free agency by making it blind.

Here's the 2022 roster. Let me know if anything doesn't seem right. nothing on the Twins looks right. It's not. Travis accidentally just posted the 2021 roster. Someone from the committee (likely Ian?) will have to send out an invite to view the 2022 roster.

I’ve seen the request for sharing from everyone. The committee has a few details to iron out yet, so stay tuned.

Are we getting CE numbers before T1 FA starts? Are we still starting T1 FA today?

Are we getting CE numbers before T1 FA starts? Are we still starting T1 FA today? Looks like there is a delay. Should only be 1 week. CE numbers should be posted this week and FA should start next week. I will make sure to post if anything disrupts the modified schedule.

Just putting this out there in advance for the good of NSBL health and safety:
If Ian nails Cody Bellinger with a HUGE CE after a -1.5 WAR, 45 OPS+ season,
we riot.

Tier 1 will kick off Monday. Each day will see 2 players listed. As we did last year, it will be open bidding, starting at 10am on the morning posted and continuing until there are no bids for a 24 hour period. If necessary, after 4 days, the bidders will be reduced to only those who have bid within the past 24 hours. No bids can be edited after posting. Any edited bids will be considered null and void.

Couple questions about this year:
1. Are we sticking with the runner starting on 2B in extra innings during the regular season?
2. Are we adapting to the new playoff format with 3 wild card teams? Or sticking with the old format?

I wonder if this is how fans felt about the DH 50 years ago? 2. Unsure. I don't like it IRL. I'm more open in this league. I at least like the riddance of the one and done crapshoot games.

1. No. Never. Game length isn't an NSBL issue. 2. No. Let's not dilute the length of the season AND make the playoffs even more of a crapshoot.

I'd vote no and yes respectively.
I agree game length doesn't technically exist in simulation baseball.
I think NSBL has already proven that playoffs are a crapshoot, therefore, I think we should expand the playoffs to give even more teams a chance to make a run. There aren't financial implications at stake here. If this were something we played for money, then of course we would want to minimize variance. If the hobby is the reason we play, then the championships are just bragging rights.
Also, I like increasing my odds of a playoff appearance after my insane off-season trades.

Greedily a large portion of my voting "no" for the second part is that I don't want to re-write the playoff logic in my playoff probabilities (though maybe if I did I could make it run in less than 2 hours which is a huge bottleneck on the system right now).

Is the order of Tier 1 Free Agents posted somewhere? I thought the evening before Tier 1 kicks off, there might at least be something in the "Free Agency" part of the board. Thanks. JIm
