Joe,
1. You can’t withdraw your bid on Grant Dayton. You have the high bid over email. I can share it with the league if you would like.
2. You have to stop thinking because you are the Commissioner, that you get to play by your own special set of rules. You did it twice just yesterday alone.
3. You are only showing everyone one side of the story. You bragged to me over email that you are intentionally waiting to snipe my Day 1 bids, because you need an entire pitching staff, and are “targeting D2 bids where the D1 team is cash strapped.”
Okay. You can play that game, Joe. So my strategy on countering it is bidding enough to keep our bidding war going via the 24-hour clock, while still getting one new high bid. It’s the only way I can try to get a simple bullpen arm, since you’ve gone out of your way to tell me you are intentionally trying to affect my team.
This tantrum is a huge problem for the league. Our Commissioner thinks he has the right to make up his own set of rules as he goes. (See my 5% Posey discount as my most recent punishment for when he and I went head to head in FA.)
I’m tired of it, and I know that others are too.

Please keep all of the free agent period commentary in this thread and leave the daily bid threads for concession posts so they don't get lost in the arguments.

Joe, 1. You can’t withdraw your bid on Grant Dayton. You have the high bid over email. I can share it with the league if you would like. I see two options here: 1. make a bid that exceeds Joe's most recent bid and continue with the bid war 2. concede the player

I agree. I am following the league rules to have a bid in within a 24-hour period, or the player will be conceded.
Disappointed in your response here. This does not make the league look good.

JIm There is no 24 hour mandate in NSBL. You are confusing leagues. NSBL rules request that participants return emails in "a timely manner". All the rest of this needs to be taken off-line.

Yankees FA So far I had two big needs I wanted to address LF and a closer Got both Corey Dickerson 106. For 9.000 on a short 3 year deal And Sean Doolittle 123. For only 5.900 on a 2 year contract
Then added wainwright soria and Brach all 2 year deals.
Next year I will only need to get a SS, DH and a true #1 with around 60mil in cap space Hopefully this will give time for Braxton Vargas singer And burdi to be ready to call up in 2022 for the pitching staff And avelino,Pratto, hinds, larnach, jimenez and Martinez.
I hope this will get me to compete for third place the next two years.
