I get the feeling that Tracy didn’t send someone a list before leaving on vacation?

He did, but Joe is under orders to not post the pick yet. Tracy desires to do some last minute research upon reaching his Joe-tel.
Meanwhile, I’m sitting here with a draft hard’on after watching the same guy since my 2nd round pick.

Damn, Tahnaj Thomas was a guy I was targeting at 3.27. Tons of floor, but he also has tons of ceiling. Big house. Nice value pick Sean.

I'm very glad to cross Yamamoto off my list. I was getting tired of having the very debate Ty talked about in his pick. Is this the best JY we're gonna see or is he gonna be one of the few pitchability guys that succeeds in the "new juiced ball" era. If he even had a little more velocity, I would have taken him ahead of Tahnaj Thomas. His stuff is good... it just isn't fast... and it makes me wonder if it's sustainable.
It's a good pick and I hope he succeeds.

I just love Ty praising his own pick as he’s making it. Classic Ty.
The Baltimore front office has to order him new suits every year, because the back of the left shoulder always gets worn out. Ty is right handed.

Big fan of Muzziotti. Drafted him last year in my other league. Is he still a garbage player if I drafted him in my other league?

I haven't seen anything of substance about Urquidy, but Jeff Luhnow brought him up during an interview I heard on my way into work about a month ago. Must have been an injury issue last year based on innings pitched, but the dude is straight dealing so far this season.

Not the ideal frame or smooth delivery that one would like to see, but if I had a 3rd pick, he was going to be my guy. Perfect pick at this spot of the draft imo.

I like the Munoz pick, Travis. I took him last year in MLBSA. His peripherals have declined a bit since I took him, but I think he will be good, and he's still really young. He's one of the few guys I took in MLBSA that I don't own here but still follow.

There will be a brief delay as I am watching 3 pitchers tonight before making my selection and also considering trade offers for the pick. I will pick by 1000 EST unless the weight of the world crushes me (Homer Simpson). I will also be at the Bowie Baysox game tonight watching several intriguing future Orioles.

C'mon, man, get your shit together. Several future Orioles... maybe! I need a drink.

Ever since Elias came over from Houston, play has improved except in AAA. Diaz is starting to hit the ball hard and they have a solid group of starters and middle infielders. I’m cautiously optimistic. What else can I be?

Astro ball is a good read if you want insight into the Astros ascension and they were pretty key players.

I agree with everything you said and nothing that Ed said. Ed is crazy and hearing voices. I mean, you're named after a cheese, but at least you're not Jim... or Ed... or crazy.

SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THEY THINK OF LIOVER PEGUERO. I FIRST HEARD OF HIM LAST NIGHT SO I'M VERY UNSURE ABOUT THE PICK I JUST MADE.
As Matt (White Sox) can verify, I was flipping through like 8-10 names every couple of minutes for about an hour before I made the pick. Eventually I figured I had to get on with the rest of my day off, so I settled on Peguero. I think he has a chance to be as good as peak Alex Rodriguez. He might also become a really good hitter, then switch to pitching and become a top-5 all time pitcher, sort of like a reverse Babe Ruth. I think both outcomes are possible.

I say that respectfully Jim and in a good way.

Him appearing on the list of potential players for Hayes makes me feel a lot better.

Liover Peguero was definitely on my list. Unfortunately I am out of picks. I won't say where he was on my Top 5 because at this point my remaining list is a mix of ceiling, floor and stat hunting.

Sorry for the delay. With Vavra actually getting drafted, I needed to make some adjustments to my board.
I'm not exactly sure what I'm getting into with Toribio. The downside of him moving to 1B is fine. As much as I liked Terrin Vavra, it's probably a blessing that he got drafted before me as it's likely he will have to be traded to get any shot at playing time at the MLB level. Toribio won't be ready until Longoria is long gone. Here's hopin'!
For the record, I love Terrin Vavra. I'm genuinely sad that name isn't on my roster.

Final pick is in the books. Draft recap:
Winter: INF Lourdes Gurriel (crappy ZiPS, but .965 OPS [155 OPS+] in real-life MLB, so hopefully Dan's crappy computer shows him love in 2020 1st: SP Daniel Espino (18) 2nd: SP Tyler Ivey (23, 0.72 ERA at AA, 4 pitch pitcher) 3rd: C Samuel Huff (21, .936 OPS, A-A+) 4th (1): OF Niko Hulsizer (22, .956 OPS, A-A+) 4th (2): RP Yoan Lopez (26, 1.13 ERA [402 ERA+], MLB, 115 ERA+ ZiPS if needed down the stretch)
Tried to get some balance at each of the major positions, since I have a lot of lower-level prospects imploding this year.
